A Writer Penned more than 1000 novels

Perhaps his name should have been on the list of Guinnes book of world records for being the most prolific writer,the name Kovvali might not have evoked thoughts those who do not access to Telugu language,even the younger generation of present time Telugus hardly know the name since most of his novels are not at disposal for several reasons.But he created a record by penning more than 1000 novels,true,the older generation still lost in memories whenever his name come up on any occasion.

His full name was Kovvali Lakshmi Narasimha Rao( 1912 - 1975) and he was popularly known as Kovvali.Detective,social issues,Tragedy,Comedy,Romance,Folk,reformation,Women welfare whatever the theme was not left of his observation.Kovvali almost touched every interesting topic of the human psyche.He made no reservations choosing the subject.And one more thing,his peak time was 1935 to 1975.Every thing he wrote turned into gold by attracting scores of readers.Kovvali had chosen simple style to reach his writings to the common reader.Those were the days strictest traditional style was only honored and the rest was treated as no worthy literature.

Kovvali entirely trespassed the rule and his only aim was the common reader,his novels always at the limit of 100 pages,that means the reader should enjoy and enlighten in the possible limited time.Yes,his foresight was proved right.He contributed a lot in terms of reading habit among Telugus in the early generations and the due credit should be given in this respect.

Every new beginning has its own woes.His first novel was Palle Paduchu ( A Village Belle) ,received moderate success and he was struggling with successive novels.One day a miracle happened,see,every man's strong conviction receives God's blessings.He gave a new script to a publisher based at Rajahmundry, Veera Venkayya & Sons, but the publisher was pondering over its success ,then a postman came to the publisher to deliver the daily mail,eventually read the script on the spot and said to the publisher "sir...this kind of   novels look very good and time saving,not only that a great entertainment too".

The prudent publisher understood the inner message of the unwelcome reader.And published it and circulated at the bus stations and rail stations.All the copies were sold and in addition the readers asked for if there were any books like these.Immediately the publisher gave advance amount for more four novels and Kovvali obliged it happily.His only mission was writing for the life he realized  it. Not only that,he honored the destiny.

He shifted his base to Madras and wrote six cinema stories i.e., Talli prema,Santhi,Maa Gopi,Sipayi Kuturu,Beedala Assthi,Sri Rama Anjaneya Yuddham.Interestingly, his story titles were also very intriguing like Dancing girl,Doctor's wife,Vagabond prince,Church bell,Burma lady and so on apart from Telugu titles.At times, Kovvali wrote one novel in one day,on the publisher's request within a night he finished one or two novels.That was the incredible market for his books in those times.

During 1935 to 1975 ,he had penned 1001 novels in Telugu and rocked the generation with his thoughts ,especially Kovvali along with his popular style adopted the sense of women's freedom and progressive outlook in his writings.Fortunately Vedagiri Rambabu brought out a book on Kovvali this year and that uphold his life work in a befitting manner. 

An Ode to a legend , Balamurali

Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna (86) a legendary vocalist does not require any introduction and his death yesterday sent shock waves to the world of music lovers. An unparalleled exponent of Carnatic music tradition.He created many new ragas,composed his own songs in addition.His penchant for acting skills was evident in several movies.However his unique achievement is he was appealing to the connoisseurs and the laymen alike.

Balamurali, as he was fondly called by admirers has a unique connection with Bhadrachalam.He performed here as a vocalist several times in the last three decades.His last one has taken place in the year of  2011.Describing his contribution will take several volumes.Apart from being a stalwart classical singer,having laurels from film music was his specific feature.Bhadrachala Ramadasa Keertanas like "Paluke bangaramaayena" always to be reverberated in the hearts of devotees.

He served  Bhadrachala devasthanam as a Asthana Vidwan.An era ended with the passing away of the greatest singer.Depth and grace in his rendition will be remained as a model for the aspiring classical singers.All the music elite keeps pouring condolences from all quarters.The small village Sankaraguptam of East Godavari shot to being heralded as which is the birth place of the singer,that's what a hero could do for his native place,Rest in peace sir.

Film actor Rallapalli Paid Obeisance

Film actor Rallapalli requires no intro even to this generation.He paid obeisance to the deity of Bhadrachalam yesterday.How can we give a cold shoulder to a person who entertained audience some decades with his own acting skills,be it a role of comedy or the other  , his involvement of performance never to be fading away with passing time.His resonant voice with perfect precision always be a matter of joyful screen appearance.

Rallapalli performed in 850 films,mostly in Telugu apart from a few in Tamil.Who would forget his exemplary acting in Rendu rellu aaru (Two two's are six) as a person who always insist to speak all possible Indian languages whenever he chanced upon expressing his opinion,that invokes chuckles uncontrollably.Seetakokachiluka (The butterfly) is another film which carried his best nuances to remember.These are just a few examples,there are many to cite from hundreds of movies.

He has been recognized as a good cook by the likes of K.Viswanth and Kamal Hasan,during the shooting times he used to display his culinary skills,admitted in a TV interview.Should have said in the RK's open heart if I am not mistaken.May Lord Rama bless him abundantly. 

S.P.Balasubrhamanyam and my connection

I should have been writing it yesterday but not got materialized due to many of my pre- occupied engagements, but must be attempted because being  an ardent admirer of the legendary singer S.P.Balasubrhamanyam who requires no introduction as a singer par excellence.Yesterday was his birthday and there were programs on the T.V.s,specifically mentioned on E.TV (Telugu) ,interacting with growing singers who have been introduced and groomed by none other than this sweet hearted singer.

S.P.Balasubrhamanyam recorded more than  40,000 songs, including languages like Telugu,Tamil,Kannada,Malayalam,Hindi and many other languages.He obtained six times national awards and twenty five times Nandi awards of Andhra Pradesh not only that he got Padmasri and Padmabhushan from  central government.He won the hearts of people and many awards to reckon.

Before all else, S.P.B. is a jewel of the Indian singing community with his spell binding voice,it's truly a God blessing soul to give a song its befitting muse.That's why he has become a household's sweet heart all these years.Right now,he has been doing a great work through E.Tv by grooming scores of budding singers through his precious qualification of experience.So many have turned into good singers and music composers.

OH..you could ask me what the connection with him...Yes...the photograph you are seeing in the post was sent by him to my address when I was studying class tenth,on my request, it's around 1979.Then I was a movie buff and enjoying writing to various cine artistes  for their photos.Please don't ask me about the present condition,totally lost my interest in movies and who sings who's songs.

Kota Srinivasa Rao

Srinivasa Rao Kota needs no specific elucidation amongst the cine-goers of  Telugu spoken world.A multifaceted artiste proved his mettle through innumerable characters.He enacted in more than 650 movies,mostly in Telugu movies,though he screened on several Tamil,Hindi and Malayalam flicks.Visited Lord Rama's temple at Bhadrachalam a couple of days back,along with his family members.Kota was his short name with which he got fame irrespective of age group concerned the film goers.

Be it a role of under played or arrogant villain or comedy or any kind of character,Kota justified all of them with his own sizzling dialogue delivery like a cake walk since he could have come from the drama field.He started his cine career in 1978 by acting in Pranam Khareedu,a Telugu film.He had been honored with Padmasri in 2015.Also served as an M.L.A. during 1999-2004.

With the advent of hot summer,many things follow to make comfort the life of human being.Surely earthenware is one among them.Different kinds of utensils made of clay enter in to the market.Pots have special market.Despite of electric gadgets like fridges ,even in these times there are some people who are interested to have water from the pots.They maintain it with meticulous plan by putting them in the sand.Taking cool water from the earthen utensil is the quite natural way and the coolness is different borne from fridges,some people think so.

Voluntary organisations begin to establish shacks to put pots of water to provide it for free.This is one kind of service offered from many organisations to help the thirsty public in the scorching hot summer.Apart from the  pots,there are other kind of clay utensils to be sold.There is a particular community in both Telugu states to make this earthenware.Up to 16 th century, fired clay utensils had reigned by the way nowadays in some railway stations also tea is poured in small pots as they were considered as eco- friendly.

A Soothing and heart touching Song

Sometimes we find rare gems all of a sudden, without any prior idea.The song here I am presenting belonged to such kind in many respects.You would accept it once you got heard it.This is a Nepali song rendered by Banika Pradhan.Happened to listened the song while I was reading a Darjiling based News portal.Yes,it's my hobby reading various news portal that were sometimes obscurely known or not so renown among the public.In the part of  online sojourn,came across the video of this song "Yeti dherai maya kino".Firstly amazed  myself that how unknown talent out there across our country,especially in the hills of Darjiling.

I keep listening the song even once for each day,that's how the melodious voice of Banika Pradhan overwhelmed me and not only that orchestra arrangements were also superb to quiescent our mind.Out of my agog writing these few lines to introduce it to my readers.There was a saying that the music could be enjoyed irrespective of language ,understood the spirit of those words after having gone through the piece.Singer's composure,aalaps and rendition just awesome.Different instrumentalists played congruous notes to make it further beautiful.Hope you enjoy the day. 

Film Artist Jayaprakash Reddy reveals his new mission

Noted Telugu cinema actor Jayaprakash Reddy visited Bhadrachalam to extend his obeisance to the lord Rama.He met several theater persons of the locality like organizers of Bhadradri Bharati who have been conducting state level drama competitions for the last more than a decade.Actor Jayaprakash said that he would be going to give a show on the stage that depicts number of shades of a soldier's life.It shall be lasting almost 100 minutes as a mono performance,hoping the records to be created through this piece which was translated from Hindi language.

There is little chance in the films to do experiments when comparing the stage and his first love was always the theater itself as he did come through the same channel in to the films.Talluri Panchaksharayya.Pakala Durga prasad,Somaroutu Srinivasa Rao and others are being seen in the above picture.

Jottings on a bard

Yesterday,it was a day of reckoning with reverence and sublime pride,as which was to recall the memories of Rallabandi Kavita Prasad on his first death anniversary.Several of such gatherings could have happened all over.His physical appearance faded away ,yet his thoughts are still lingering there in the air,apart from his books anyway.Though he was born at Nemali of Krishna district,his connection with Bhadrachalam is not to be overseen.He employed as a teacher around this place all before ascending to the coveted positions of his later life.

No power stops the light of the daybreak,likewise no barrier hindered the true spirit of erudition.He unfolded his thousand petals lotus while the right time was in favor of him.So his poetry whether it is metrical or free verse bloomed and boomed all across the Telugu world ,in addition his speech swayed wherever he had been...! Rallabandi's service for Avadhana prakriya is well known and he obtained doctorate on the same subject.

As a bureaucrat ,he rose to state cultural department head in undivided state and later allotted to Telangana state where he was apparently marginalized in the game of equations,though he was in that position for a short stint.Almighty 's maze is unpredictable,he chooses different doors for different people to take them back.Perhaps,the bard of yore,busy himself there in the heaven singing his poems with gusto in an ever free mood.

Arun Sagar Connection with Bhadrachalam

Acclaimed senior journalist Arun Sagar's demise strikes a chord in the temple town of Bhadrachalam.He did commendable job in terms with literary activities apart from being an instrumental one in establishing three popular TV channels.Arun was the editor with TV5 channel at present and which was the last rock standing on before plunging in to the eternal ocean of oblivion.As per sources,his father TVR Chandram worked in undivided communist party and he had traveled with CPM later on.His father Chandram 's name is popular as one of the most sincere and dedicated worker.Ascended to state level leadership but his last days were not  luxurious comparatively ,led a simple life on to his death.

Although Arun Sagar born at Bhadrachalam,educated at Kothagudem and Visakhapatnam.He started his career of journalism with Suprabhatam magazine and switched on to various ones before he entered in to electronic media.Proletarian outlook with progressive thoughts is evidently seen in his poetry and sprawled over entire his life.May his soul rest in peace.

Classical Music Performances at Bhadrachalam

The five day music concerts on the occasion of Bhakta Ramadasa's 383rd  birth anniversary began on 11th of this month and will be lasted up to 15 th of february.This time Nedunuri brothers and Malladi brothers are performing along with other classical vocalists,instrumentalists arriving from far and wide.In fact, which is a long lasting tradition here.In the past the glory was invariably different,The musical giants like Pandit Ravi Sankar,K.J.Yesudas,Mangalampalli,Chittibabu,Vaidyanadhan etc gave their renditions at the holy town with utmost devotion.For unknown reasons,there was hardly any effort made to draw any renowned musical heavyweight for the last two decades.Almost every artist would feel honored and blessed to perform in front of the Lord Rama's presence.No doubt,but things went that way.

Anyhow,this year seems to be a good start to have receiving well known and talented singers from all over country and some are from abroad too.Yesterday,I went to Chitrakuta Mandapam where the programs are being staged,and have seen some singer was performing,notably Kannada numbers.Must be of Purandhara dasa Kritis.Intrigued to know the singer's name,came outside to see his name on the board,surprisingly no sign of any of its kind to let know performer's name.My Good heavens...!

Rhapsody of Harish Drawings...!

On that quiet evening I have never expected finding such a little artist who was not tainted by so called painting school traditions  and a figure blazoned in the media either,he is none other than  Javvadi Harish (13) ,studying his ninth standard  at Rahul Vignan School,Charla .He has something enthralling in his drawings ,that's what I thought of him on the moment his innate skill was seen by me.Harish uses only ball pen on the white paper.That's it.No tutelage underwent regarding the drawing ,all this he started when he was in class third with bare one ball point pen.He prefers mainly Township planning,war air crafts,robots and others to draw.He never liked copying  a model,instead always enjoy adding his own  imagination while he draws something.

He imagined future planning for habitations in some pictures.His lines in the drawings are coherent and accurate without using any of other utilities.Maybe,he could do a lot if he were guided in his natural pursuit.I am presenting here some of his drawings for you.Art connoisseurs are welcome and feel free to suggest him through the blog,who knows your advice could work to improve him better.

Allamraju Srihari Kameswara Rao - A Man with many Talents

Allamraju Srihari Kameswara Rao,a multi-faceted person to say in brief.Let's have a few glimpses of his achievements ranging from a writer to cricketer and mimicry artist and the list goes on.Above all , a humanitarian by his nature.Mr.Kameswara Rao born at Kesana kurru of East godavari district on 24 april,1960.His parents are Allamraju Venkata Rao and Subba Lakshmi.Right from his childhood he,along with,his brothers used to participate in different cultural activities.And getting prizes are certain for his innate talent whether it is in poetry or songs or drama or even a play like cricket.

In 1975, a gala celebration on the occasion of state formation had taken place at Kapileswarapuram,wherein he participated and won first prize in songs section.The incident boosted his morale to win more prizes and appreciations from the world.Mr.Rao said that he was inspired a lot from that time to enter in to different creative segments.

He participated in "Once more please" program beamed on Gemini TV.Comedian Venu madhav and Udaya Bhanu were hosts of that one.Brahmanandam,the comedy  super star,gave away a merit certificate to Mr.Rao on the occasion of drama competitions held at Palakollu.He established a platform "Saraswati bala vignana kendram" to have done several cultural programs.The dramas like 'Gundelu marchabadunu,Kaksha,Samjam maaraali etc. have been performed on behalf of it.Our Rao excelled both in the shoes of actor and director as well.

He enacted a role in the serial of  "Daya sagar" directed by well known Vijayachander,which was a big hit on Door Darshan in those days.He was appreciated by veteran cine director  K.Viswanath when the dialogues from Sankarabharanam were mimicked in front of him.Performed in Saketapuri celebrations of Bhadrachalam along with S.P.Balasubrahmanyam.

Having received a prize from yester years singing queen Gikki in a songs competition, is a memorable incident,he added.Ravi Kondala Rao,Radha Kumari,Ambica artistes like them accompanied him in his acting career."Bapu", the doyen of Telugu film world liked him very much for his talent and always being in touch by mails.Bapu presented him two beautiful arts  with affection.

At present,Mr.Rao is working as a social studies teacher at ZPSS,Narsapuram village,the place is almost 18 k.m. away from Bhadrachalam.So he partook  the program of Akshara deepam to his best and got a merit certificate from then collector Mr.Aravind Kumar.Also gave a music recital in the last year's Mukkoti celebrations.

Mimicry is his forte undoubtedly.He enthralls scores of people by his talent.Mr.Rao imitates almost all cine artistes and political celebrities' voices,that too with creating spontaneous dialogue versions.Veteran Nerella Venumadhav specially appreciated him for his command over the art of mimicry.He was accorded with a title of  "Mimicry Myna" by the people of Chintaluru,under the auspices of Chamarti Srinivasa gopala Rao.He has happily shown the wedding card of Cricketer Venkatapathi Raju received from him on the occasion of his marriage.

The family members also blessed with different art forms.For instance his wife Mrs.Udaya Lakshmi achieved first prize in cuisine competition and received appreciations from then sub collector Mrs.Yogita Rana.Daughters Vidya , Divya and son Srikar keep excelling in Carnatic music and dance as well.

నిన్నటి పాడుతా తీయగా పై నాలుగు ముక్కలు

చినుకులా రాలి...అనే మృదు మధురమైన గీతం తో కార్యక్రమం ఆరంభమైంది. రాజన్ నాగేంద్ర ల ఆ మెలోడి ఎంత విన్నా వినబుద్దవుతుంది.ఎక్కువ రణ  గొణ శబ్దాలు లేకుండా ఆ బెల్స్..వయోలెన్స్ ..చక్కగా వుంటాయి.ఓ నవ్వుచాలు ...అనే సందీప్ పాట హుషారుగా సాగింది.వచ్చే వచ్చే నల్ల మబ్బుల్లారా ...ఉదయబిందు చాలా చక్కగా ఆలపించింది.సాహిత్యం బాగుంటుంది దాంట్లో.ఎంతైనా వేటూరి గారి master strokes అవి గమ్మత్తుగా ఉంటాయి.నిన్నే నిన్నే ..అనే పాటని శ్రీకాంత్ బాగానే పాడాడు..కాని ఇంకా గొంతులో పవర్ తో పాడాలి.చక్రి పాడిన ఆ పాటని వింటే మూలనున్న ముసలివ్యక్తి కూడ లేచి డాన్స్ చేస్తాడు..అంత ఊపుతో ఉంటుంది.

దిల్ దీవనా ..పాట ఓ.కె., గోవిందా...గోవిందా అనే పాట మీనన్ బాగానే లాగాడు.ఇక్కడ పిట్స్ బర్గ్ అనే మాట వచ్చినపుడు నాకు గల ఓ నోస్టాల్జియ చెప్పాలనిపించింది. అక్కడి వెంకటేశ్వర స్వామి ఆలయ నిర్మాణం లో పాలుపంచుకున్న మా బాబాయి అమెరికా ప్రయాణం గుర్తుకొచ్చింది.అప్పుడు నేను ఇంటర్మీడిఎట్  చదువుతున్నాను.ఈ సాఫ్ట్వేర్ బూం కూడా మొదలు కాని రోజులవి.

జిల్లా సాక్షరతా కార్యక్రమాల్లో చురుగ్గా ఫాల్గొని డివిజన్ స్థాయి శిక్షకునిగా పనిచేశారు.అప్పటి ఎం.ఎల్.ఏ. కుంజా బొజ్జి గారిచేత ప్రశంసా పత్రాన్ని పొందారు.1992 లో జిల్లా సాంస్కృతిక సంస్థ ద్వారా శిక్షణాతరగతులలో ఫాల్గొని కొత్తగూడెం ఎం.ఎల్.ఏ. వనమా వెంకటేశ్వర రావు గారిచేత ప్రశంసా పత్రాన్ని అందుకున్నారు.

ప్రియతమా,ప్రేమికుల చట్టం అనే టెలీ ఫిల్మ్ లను నిర్మించారు.భద్రాద్రి భారతి,భారతభారతి అనే సంస్థల్ని స్థాపించి నాటికల,కవితల,డాన్స్ పోటీలను నిర్వహించారు.ఇదంతా ఒక ఎత్తుకాగా వారి తండ్రి పేరుపై స్థాపించిన గుమ్మల సీతారామయ్య మెమోరియల్ సంస్థ తరపున చేపట్టిన కార్యక్రమాలు ఒక ఎత్తు.పేదప్రజలకు,ఇతర కార్యక్రమాలకు ఇతోధిక సహాయం చేశారు.వీరి కవితా సంకలనాలు " పల్లవి,జీవకలం"  లను భావతరంగిణి ,మచిలీపట్నం వారు ఆవిష్కరించారు.అ.ర.సం. వారు నిర్వహించిన కవితల పోటీల్లో కన్సోలేషన్ బహుమతిని సాధించారు.

వాసిరెడ్డి రాజేంద్రప్రసాద్ గారు డ్రాయింగ్ మాస్టారుగా చాలా కాలంగా తెలుసు.పిల్లలని సృజనాత్మక చిత్రకారులుగా తీర్చి దిద్దటంలో వారి నైపుణ్యాన్ని ఇటీవలనే గమనించాను

వాసిరెడ్డి రాజేంద్రప్రసాద్ గారు డ్రాయింగ్ మాస్టారుగా చాలా కాలంగా తెలుసు.పిల్లలని సృజనాత్మక చిత్రకారులుగా తీర్చి దిద్దటంలో వారి నైపుణ్యాన్ని ఇటీవలనే గమనించాను.J.N.T.U. హైదరాబాదు లో చిత్రకళలో డిప్లొమా పొందినతరవాత దుమ్మగూడెం జడ్.పి.హైస్కూల్ లో  చిత్రకళోపాధ్యాయులుగా నియమింపబడ్డారు.ఆ తరువాత ఇప్పుడు నన్నపనేని జడ్.పి.హైస్కూల్ లో పనిచేస్తున్నారు.ఇటీవల ఆ పాఠశాల లో కి వెళ్ళినప్పుడు పిల్లలు వేసిన వివిధ చిత్రాలను చూపించారు.కలర్ పెయింటింగ్స్,పెన్సిల్స్ తో వేసినవి, పెన్స్ తో వేసినవి,తైల వర్ణ చిత్రాలు ఇంకా అనేక చిత్రాల్ని చూపించారు వారి రూములో..!

విధ్యార్దిని విధ్యార్ధుల్లో రాజేంద్ర ప్రసాద్ గారు నింపుతున్న ఉత్సాహాన్ని ,ప్రేరణ కలిగిస్తున్న వైనాన్ని ప్రశంసించ లేకుండా వుండలేకపోయాను. మన బ్లాగు ద్వారా ఆ విషయాలని తెలియజేయాలని ఈ పోస్ట్ పెడుతున్నాను. మిగతా సబ్జక్ట్ లు చదివి అలసట చెందినపుడు డ్రాయింగ్ అనేది పిల్లలకి స్వాంతన చేకూర్చుతుందన  తెలిపారు.గత ఏడాది ఈనాడు వారు హాయ్ బుజ్జీ పేరిట నిర్వహించిన డ్రాయింగ్ పోటీలో 11 బహుమతులకు గాను 10 బహుమతులు తమ విధ్యార్ధులు పొందినట్లు చెప్పారు.అలాగే భద్రాచలం పేపర్ బోర్డ్స్ వారు 2012  లో ప్రజ్ఞా పేరిట నిర్వహించిన కాంపిటీషన్ లో జి.మాధవి అనే తమ విధ్యార్దిని ప్రత్యేక బహుమతి పొందినట్లు తెలియజేశారు.అదేవిధంగా సాక్షి వారు వై.ఎస్.ఆర్. స్మారకార్ధం నిర్వహించిన పోటీలో మండల స్థాయిలో సోయం లక్ష్మి అనే విధ్యార్దిని ప్రధమ బహుమతి పొంది జిల్లా స్థాయికి కూడా వెళ్ళినట్లు చెప్పారు.

వోటర్స్ డే సందర్భంగా ఇంకా అనేక ప్రత్యేక సందర్భాల్లోనూ తమ పాఠశాలలోని పిల్లలు రాణించిన విషయాన్ని తెలిపారు.జి.మాధవి,సి.హెచ్.మానస ,ఎం.దుర్గ,నవీన,షబాన,ఎస్.లక్ష్మి,ఎల్.రాకేష్,దుర్గాప్రశాంత్,సాయితేజ మొదలైనవారు బాగా రాణిస్తున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.

తన అచీవ్మెంట్స్ గురించి చెప్పమనగా కొన్ని ఉదంతాలని తెలిపారు.3 సార్లు హెవీ వాటర్ ప్లాంట్స్ ,మణుగూరు వారు నిర్వహించిన అఖిల భారత స్థాయి డ్రాయింగ్ పోటీలకి జడ్జి గా వ్యవహరించారు.కేంద్ర జలవనరుల సంఘం నుంచి నీటి ఆవశ్యకతపై వేసిన చిత్రానికి గాను ఆ మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ నుంచి సర్టిఫికేట్ పొందినట్లు తెలిపారు.

మరిచిపోలేని ఒక సంఘటన గురించి చెబుతూ 2012 లో  D.A.V. సంస్థల వారు ఆల్ ఇండియా లెవల్ లో ఒక డ్రాయింగ్ పోటిని నిర్వహించినపుడు తనని జడ్జి గా పిలిచినపుడు ఎదురైన ఓ సన్నివేశం గూర్చి తెలిపారు.దానికి చీఫ్ గెస్ట్ గా వచ్చిన కేంద్ర అణుశక్తి కమీషన్ చైర్మన్ భట్నాగర్ గారు తన ను ప్రత్యేకంగా అభినందించడం మరిచిపోలేని అంశంగా చెప్పారు.నన్నపనేని మోహన్ మరియు పాకాలపాటి చంద్రశేఖర్ గార్లు తనకు మంచి పోత్సహాన్ని ఇస్తున్నట్లుగా చెప్పారు.

హీరో మహేష్ బాబు పుట్టిన రోజు సంధర్భంగా ఓ లడ్డు ఇచ్చాడు.

ఈ రోజు సాయంత్రం మిత్రుడు సాయిజీ అంబేడ్కర్ సెంటర్ లో కలిశాడు. హీరో మహేష్ బాబు పుట్టిన రోజు సంధర్భంగా ఓ లడ్డు ఇచ్చాడు.అలాగే ప్రెస్ వాళ్ళకి పంచుతూ..దానికి సంబందించిన ప్రెస్ నోట్ ని ఇవ్వడంలో నిమగ్నమయ్యాడు.సాయిజీ నాకు బాల్య మిత్రుడు.అప్పట్లో అతను హీరో కృష్ణకి వీరాభిమానిగా వుండేవాడు.ప్రస్తుతం మహేష్ బాబు అభిమానిగా చాలా కార్యక్రమాలు చేస్తుంటాడు.అనేక సార్లు కృష్ణ ,విజయనిర్మల,ఇంకా మహేష్ బాబు ని కలిసి వస్తుంటాడు. వాళ్ళతో మనవాడు దిగిన చాలా ఫోటోలు నేను ఓసారి చూశాను.రాష్ట్రస్థాయి మహేష్ బాబు సేన లో కీలక బాధ్యతలు నిర్వహిస్తుంటాడు.ఇక్కడ ఈ ఫోటొ లో సాయిజీ ,వారి సేన కి సంబందించిన మరో మిత్రుడు వున్నారు.    Click here for more

బహుముఖ ప్రజ్ఞాశాలి డేగల చందర్ రావు..!

భద్రాచలం లో పరిచయం అవసరం లేని వ్యక్తి ఎవరని అడిగితే అది విజయ్ టైలర్స్ అధినేత డేగల చందర్ రావు అని ఎవరైనా చెబుతారు.ఎనిమిదేళ్ళ కుర్రాడి దగ్గరనుంచి ఎనభైయేళ్ళ ముదుసలిదాకా అందరకీ తలలో నాలుకలా వుంటూ అందరివాడుగా భావించబడే మనిషి మన చందర్ రావు.కేవలం అతన్ని ఒక టైలర్ అనుకుంటే పొరపాటు పడినట్టే..!

అతనికి రాని అంశమంటూ వున్నదా అనిపిస్తుంది చందర్ రావు చాకచక్యం చూస్తుంటే..!ఆయన ఒక నటుడు,ఒక ఇంద్రజాలికుడు,ఒక స్వచ్చంద సేవకుడు ఇలా ఎన్నో కోణాలు చందర్ రావు లో వున్నాయి.ఏప్రిల్ 10, 1959 సం.లో జన్మించిన ఆయన పెద్ద వారిలో పెద్దవాడు..చిన్నపిల్లల్లో చిన్నవాడు. ఎప్పుడూ పరవళ్ళు తొక్కే వుత్సాహంతో అందరిని పలకరించే ఆయన జీవిత పుటల్లోకి ఒక్కసారి తొంగిచూద్దాము.

ప్రాధమిక స్థాయితోనే విద్యాభ్యాసాన్ని చాలించిన మన చందర్ రావు లోకం అనే విశ్వవిద్యాలయం లో పొందని డిగ్రీ అంటూ లేదు.కేవలం ఒక మిషన్ తో తన జీవన యాత్రని ప్రారంభించిన ఆయన పది మిషన్లని నిర్వహించే స్థాయికి ఎదిగాడు.అనేక మందికి వుపాది కల్పించాడు.సినీ కాస్ట్యూం డిజైనర్ గా పేరుపొందాడు. 

ఎన్నో తెలుగు సినిమాల్లో చిన్న కేరక్టర్ పాత్రల్ని పోషించాడు.అడవిలో అన్న,సూర్య పుత్రులు,దండోర,దేవుళ్ళు,స్వర్ణక్క,చీకటి సూర్యులు,జుమ్మంది నాదం,సీతమ్మ వాకిట్లో సిరిమల్లె చెట్టు,ఎంకౌంటర్,భద్రాద్రి రాముడు,గోదావరి పొంగింది,ఇలా అనేక చిత్రాల్లో నటించారు.

అంతేకాదు ఎన్నో నాటకాల్లో నటించి అవార్డులు ..రివార్డులు పొందారు.ఇదిలా వుండగా...కళ్ళకి గంతలు కట్టుకొని అనేక గంటల పాటు భద్రాద్రి వీధుల్లో స్కూటర్ని నడిపి రికార్డ్ సృష్టించారు.అనేకమంది వృద్దులకి..పేద విధ్యార్ధులకు తనకి తోచిన సహాయం చేస్తుంటాడు మన చందర్ రావు.శ్రీ రాజగోపాలాచార్యుల వారి వద్ద వేణు వాయిద్యాన్ని అభ్యసించి సంగీతంలోనూ తన సత్తా చాటుకున్నాడు.

ఈ టీవి-2 తో పాటు...ఈనాడు,ఆంధ్ర ప్రభ,వార్త,ఆంధ్ర భూమి,డెక్కన్ క్రానికల్ ఇలాంటి ఎన్నో మాధ్యమాల్లో చందర్ రావు ప్రతిభని శ్లాఘించడం జరిగింది.

ఈ విధంగా రాసుకుంటూ పోతే రాయవలసింది ఎంతో మిగిలి పోతూనే వుంటుంది ఆయన గురించి..!వృత్తి పరంగా..ప్రవృత్తి పరంగా ఎన్నో గెలుపు జెండాలని ఎగరేసుకుంటూ సాగిపోతున్న ఆయన జైత్రయాత్ర అప్రతిహతంగా అలాగే సాగి పోవాలని ఆశిద్దాం.
