EVENT : NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY

Objective : To celebrate the birth anniversary of renowned Indian Mathematician., Srinivasa Ramanujan, and to promote mathematical learning and awareness among students.
Highlights of the Event: Presentation of a brief talk on the life and contribution of Srinivasa Ramanujan
Maths Rangoli : Students from various classes participated in a vibrant Maths Rangoli Competition, where they created intricate designs incorporating mathematical patterns, geometrical shapes, and numerical motifs . This activity blended artistic expression with mathematical concepts, highlighting the aesthetic aspect of mathematics.
Mathematical Exhibition : An exhibition was organized showing students projects, models, and charts apart from demonstrating mathematical principles and their real world application. Highlights included. 1.3D models of geometric shapes and solids. 2. Interactive displays explaining mathematical theroms and formulas. 3. Presentation on the history and significance of mathematical discoveries.
Maths Quiz Competition : Teams from different classes participated enthusiastically in a competitive quiz covering puzzles, logic, and famous theorems. And Sudoku competition.
Poster making and Exhibition : Creative posters on mathematical concepts and Ramanujan's work were displayed.
Maths Games and Puzzles : Fun games like Sudoku and different puzzles, maths bingo, were organized for all groups.
Guest Lecture : Ch. Venkateswarlu (SA, Maths) ZPHS, Nagineniprolu delivered a talk on the "Beauty of Numbers" and the practical applications of mathematics.
Prize distribution : Winners of various events were awarded certificates and small trophies to encourage future interest in mathematics.
Outcome : The celebration was a great success in encouraging students to appreciate mathematics beyond text books. It helped understanding the relevance of maths in everyday life and inspired many to explore the subject more deeply.
