Loads of troubles

Day before yesterday,it was a busy day for traffic personnel of our town.Some hundreds of statues of Ganesh Maharaj came here to get immersed in the river of Godavari.Because of the sanctity attributed to the place and the river ,many conductors of celebrations have preferred to come here.All the day,roads were engaged with full rush with the beelines of vehicles.Many vehicles came with the statues all the way from Nalgonda,Hyderabad,Karimnagar and other surrounding districts.Enthusiasts are seen all over the streets with having bhajans and popular songs.

To get immersed the statues,officers arranged adequate machinery to lift larger clay statues in to the river.Godavari seemed anew with floating statues.These are mostly made of clay,so there is no big environmental hazard in any way.With autos,lorries and other vehicles the day was colorful as it usually arrives once in a year.The picture was taken by my mobile instantly in view of presenting it for our fellow bloggers.
